Battleships is a guessing game for two players. Each player's ships are hidden from the other, so each must guess where the other's ships are located. The player who sinks all of their opponent's ships wins the game.

The game is played on a rectangular grid of cells arranged in a regular 4x10 pattern. The grid contains all of the numbers 1 through 10, except that no number is repeated in any column or row.

Each player has five ships (or markers) to start: one located in cell A1, one in B5, one in E3, one in H8 and one in J2. These coordinates are known only to the player who owns those ships; his opponent must try to guess where they are on the grid based on their movements during play.

At each turn, players announce whether they would like to fire upon an opponent's ship or move their own ship from one location to another on the board. They may also choose not to take any action during a turn if they do not want to fire upon an opponent or move their own ship at that moment.

If your opponent's ship is sunk by your shot then it is removed from the board and you score points equal
